We celebrate all human life, welcoming:
- baptisms
- people who wish to be married
- those who wish to hold the funeral of a loved one in church whether or not they are members of the congregation.
We offer facilities (the Crypt and the Parish Centre) and welcome individuals and groups wishing to use them.

The Magnet Centre (tel 01424 431489) email which occupies part of the former school buildings adjacent to the Church is separate from Christ Church.
Its running and development is the responsibility of the Diocese of Chichester (under the auspices of the Department for the Education and Training of Adults).
The Centre is committed to Christian learning, mission and ministry and to enabling all Christian people to grow in discipleship regardless of academic attainment. It offers its own programme of training events in addition to those sponsored by other organisations.
Presently a Bishop's certificate course and a lay reader training course are running.
A foundation course in theology for the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton Link to RC diocese uses the Centre.
