The holy sacrifice of the mass has been offered daily since the foundation of the building. It forms the springboard of all our mission outreach and pastoral care, because when Mary received Bethlehem into her womb she immediately visited Elizabeth to tell her the good news and to share her joy through love and care.
- Mass for healing which includes the laying on of hands with prayer and the anointing with oil (second Wednesday at 10.30am)
- A monthly Requiem Mass for the departed of the month and for the years mind anniversary of loved ones (fourth Friday at 6pm)
- On the First Friday of each month there is a votive mass of the Sacred Heart
- On ferial Saturdays we commemorate Our Lady with a mass of the Holy House of Our Lady's shrine in Walsingham Link to the Shrine.
- Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament meets 4.00pm on Forth Sunday in the month
Christ Church clergy are always available to listen, to give advice, to adminiser the sacrament of reconciliation (hear confessions). We see this as an important part of the priestly ministry as we journey with people as soul friends. We view regular self-examination and forgiveness as an essential part of authentic Christian pilgrimage.
We celebrate the Eucharist together and so we celebrate and value each other gifts in other aspects of our life together in Christ Church Link to Life Together
A lay-led Outreach Team seeks to foster our Christian family life, build up the body of Christ and explore new ways of welcoming people into our community.
